Standards for medicines management - commencement date announced

Standards for medicines management came into effect on 1 November 2008.

Any Fitness to Practise referrals concerning incidents taking place on or after this date will be benchmarked against these Standards.

Stakeholders who work closely with the NMC were informed of this development by a circular on 10 October 2008 (NMC circular 12/2008).
